Hey! Summer is far from over and we definitely intend to enjoy this sunny period with music and dance! So, we did a selection of the best festivals in Europe that we cannot miss in August.

1. Wacken Open Air

The Wacken Open Air is one of the biggest heavy metal festival in the world. Each year, it takes place in Germany, in the small town of Wacken. This festival does not follow trends, so if you like 90’s Rock and Metal Battle, go join the 75,000 metallers to see the fifth of artists from August 1st to 4th.
Line-up: Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson , Volbeat, and more other artists.

    2. Øyafestivalen

    Oya is one of Norway's biggest festivals. It takes place in a massive park in the city of Oslo during 5 days. Created in 1999, it welcomes now more than 70,000 festival goers in Oslo’s city centre. Various international artists as Kendrick Lamar, Arcade Fire and Lykke Li appear in the line-up this year, as well as other national artists. The festival is environmentally friendly so you will find a lot of ecological initiatives and organic food.

  • 3. Sziget

    Located in Budapest, this one week festival offers a huge musical program on a beautiful island in Budapest. Started in 1993, Sziget festival host now more than 500,000 people, representing a hundred countries. It rallies all musical style, from Rock to Jazz to Reggae. Acts for this year include Gorillaz, Dua Lipa, Kendrick Lamar, Arctic Monkeys and many other artists.

  • 4. Flow

    Flow is one of the most unique experience of live music that we can find thanks to its art exhibition and its commitment to the environment. Its energy comes from renewable sources and waste from their precedent festivals are reused. There you may find music from old school legends to topical newcomers - as Patti Smith, Kendrick Lamar and Jorja Smith. The festival is only at a short walk from the city center so you will have a chance to explore the town too!

  • 5. Pukkelpop

    Since 1985, Pukkelpop welcomes plenty of artists of all musical style - Rock, Hip-Hop, Pop, Electronic, Dance and Heavy Metal -. More than a huge musical program, you will find other artistic expression such as street theater and also typical dishes from around the world. For this summer, the line-up shows Imagine Dragons, Arcade Fire, Kendrick Lamar - again! -, The War on Drugs and other big artists. The festival counts more than 200,000 visitors each year, so we think about it seriously!

    6. Rock en Seine

    Discover 5 stages with a long list of artists just at the gates of Paris! During 3 days, 120,000 festival goers join the rhythm of international Pop-Rock, discover the open air art gallery and the incredibly tasty French food. Be a part this year and see Macklemore, Post Malone, Thirty Seconds to Mars and a lot of other artists.
