Excellent tour. The cave was well worth seeing, as was the underground lake. Would've liked more time in Argostoli .. 25 minutes was nowhere near long enough but this was due to a particular group of customers over running by 10 mins at each stop .. sue was an excellent and very informative guide ..

it was a nice tour, but honestly way too long ... it took us 4 hours to go, and 4 to come back ... bus, bus, boat, bus, and viceversa ... it was really exhausting! we left our hotel at 7 in the morning, and where back at 22h ... it was a nice tour, but noth worth all those rides : - but really well organised though .

This was a fantastic day trip and I only have good things to say about it. First of all the tour guide Sue was brilliant. She was such a lovely person and she was so knowledgeable about Kefalonia, the Ionian islands, Greek mythology, Greek history, economy and politics! She went out of her way to help anyone who needed assistance on the trip and spoke amazing Greek! She was a really interesting person, one you're just so glad you met and that you'll remember for a long time. It was a long day but it was broken up by two trips which you paid an extra 10euro for. The first was to the Drogarati caves and the second a boat trip on the Melissani underground lake. These were two things I never would have seen if we didn't go on this trip. The Melissani lake was beautiful and the caves were stunning. The coach trip around Kefalonia was equally pleasant and interesting with Sue giving us facts, stories and history along the route. We stopped for photos in some gorgeous spots, visited an orthodox monastery and got to have a really nice lunch in a local taverna partway through the day. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone going to this area of Greece. We were both very hungover during the trip but managed to keep it together on the bouncy ferry and coach!

This tour is a great value especially considering the transportation you'd need on your own for both islands, and Kefalonia is beautiful. We got to see a number of places, including the caves and underground lake, while also having a relaxing lunch. All of the door to door transportation was comfortable, and Sue was a great guide. I wish we had an opportunity to swim at one of the beautiful beaches, but I think that is likely an issue with all day trip tours since there is only so much time. The only negative is that if you are staying on the southeast of the island, you are may be picked up first over two hours before ferry departure from Agios Nikolaos in the north and then in the evening, be dropped off last. Makes for a long day, but at least the drive across Zakynthos is scenic!

Amazing experience! Everything was very well organized (pick up and drop off from / to hotel, coach and ferry transportation). Our guide, Sue, was super friendly, fun and knowledgeable. Our bus driver was great too! I highly recommend taking the option to see the underground lake, it's fantastic.
