Bem-vindo à Igreja de São Pedro, uma das mais belas igrejas barrocas de Viena, construída de 1701 a 1733 com base nos planos de Lukas von Hildebrand. Foi aqui no século IV e sob o domínio do império romano, onde a primeira igreja foi construída em Vindobona, agora Viena. Desde então. este culto é celebrado aqui. Liturgia, missas e música fazem da Igreja de São Pedro um ponto famoso para os moradores e turistas.
O Classic Ensemble Vienna também encontrou sua casa aqui. Consistindo de músicos de renome internacional que fizeram muitas apresentações de sucesso na Áustria, México, EUA, Suécia, Alemanha, etc., o Classic Ensemble Vienna cativa com belas interpretações de Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Vivaldi e muito mais.

Wonderful string quartet played a selection of pieces by Mozart, Bach, Beethovan, Schubert, Vivaldi and more. St. Peter's church is gorgeous with terrific acoustics.

The entire experience of sitting in the front row of a beautifully lit up Baroque church listening to an amazingly talented string quartet was simply fantastic. It created memories that will last a lifetime. We also purchased the CD to take home. Simply unforgettable.

The concert was held in the church itself, the setting is fairly casual which was lovely - My seat section was upgraded on arrival which was a pleasant surprise. But obviously the highlight was the concert itself - Not to be missed!

The concert itself was fantasic however the venue was not!! We were cramed into what I can only discribe as the entrence to the crypt on the most unconfortable chairs!! Very disapointed and I wasn't the only one!! It would have been fab if it had been held in the church or any where else. I though it was very misleading to advertise it was been held in the crypt! The venue is a diservice to the fantasic musicians.

Highly recommend for anyone visiting Vienna. Note though that the concert was not held at the Crypt as mentioned in the tour information but rather on the main church but overall the concert was very enjoyable
