This tour gives a brief over-view of some of Taipei's most popular sites. It offers an easy way to get from point to point, especially if you have limited time in the city. I would have liked more in-depth cultural and historical information at each site, rather than the rather superficial input that we received. The stop at the Buddhist temple was rushed, with no information about the significance of this particular temple. The guide was clearly focused on getting us to the the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial for the changing of the guard, which was quite impressive. Personally, I felt that the stop at the arts and crafts store was not necessary, and I found the staff there to be a bit pushy. A huge plus of this tour is that they offer hotel pick-up and drop off at many hotels within a given radius. The pick-up was punctual, and the van was comfortable. The guide did the narrative in Japanese and English, and was very easy to understand.

A nice mix of activities but we still don't know the name of the temple we saw! Well run but would have enjoyed spending more time at the museum instead of the expensive handicraft market...
