Charming Zhujiajiao Water Village with Shanghai Luxury Cruise and Buffet by Bus

Your English-speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby in Shanghai city centre around 12 pm depending on other customer’s hotel pick-up. The exact time will be informed by your guide a day before the tour starts, normally after 6:00 pm, by a phone call to your hotel.

First you will be driven to Zhujiajiao, an ancient water village built on the bank of Dianshan Lake and at the foot of Dianshan Hill within a beautiful scenic area. The village boasts 36 stone bridges across bubbling streams, small rivers shaded by willow trees, and houses with beautiful courtyards. After this visit you will go back to Shanghai where you will visit a Silk Factory and learn about the importance of silk in Chinese traditional culture, and how silk is currently made.

Then you will board the Huangpu River cruise that offers an extraordinary view of both the Bund and Pudong area, landmarks of Shanghai’s architecture. The Bund is an impressive area of neoclassical buildings, dating back to Shanghai’s grandest days, while Pudong offers one of the world’s most iconic night skylines. During your cruise you will also enjoy a traditional Chinese style dinner buffet.

After the cruise, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Shanghai city centre around 9:00 pm
