Lovely tour. Not too long and lots of opportunities for Photos. The 24 Hour Salzburg card is great value and if you have the time get it for any day you do not have another tour booked.
Salzburg is such a beautiful city that any tour is certainly wonderful. And this one gives you a nice overview. My issue with this tour was more about its organization. Apparently, I was the only English speaker signed up in my time slot -- which the company surely knew since I signed up only a day or two before. But, rather than contact me to see if I could switch to a different time, they decided last minute to just put me into a German-speaking tour! While the guide did the best he could to give me my own personal translation, I still missed out on 80 of the tour! One would think the company would've given me a partial refund as a token gesture of apology, but they didn't. One other note: There is a bit of an overlap between this tour and the Sound of Music tour. If you can only do one, do the Sound of Music! The 24-hour Salzburg Card is great, but you can get that separately.
Nice and educational for kids
This tour was good to get your bearings and to learn a little bit of history. Having the 24 hour Salzburg card makes the remainder of your day more pleasurable as nearly all sites and lifts in town are covered. Recommend to begin early so you can take advantage of the afternoon with the card so as to visit as many places as is possible.
This is definitely a must do not only for the guided tour carried out by natasha who was very knowledgeable.The 24 hour salzburg card is amazing value as it covers the majority of museums plus unlimited travel.
