This trip was wonderful!! My parents and I went on the private tour with our guide Christina and driver Walter. They were so good to us! Christina was extremely informative, giving us great information about what we were seeing and answering our questions, all the while giving us plenty of quiet time to just enjoy the ride. Walter was a very cautious and great driver. We really did not know what to expect, given that this was our first tour with Viator, but we couldn’t have been happier with our trip. If you are considering this day trip, take it! It is well worth the money! We will definitely be looking into more Viator tours in the future!

Very rushed, especially Pompei. Guide in the van useless. He provided zero information. All you need is a driver. The guide in pompei was very good. Smart, enthusiastic and informative. I could have spent all day. Amalfi beautiful but a long way to go for short time. Hire a driver. Way too expensive

Really wonderful tour - we felt really spoilt with a private car and driver and separate tour guide. And just the right amount of conversation which could have been difficult in such a small group. Pompeii was amazing and could actually spend even more time there. It is something everyone should try to visit on their Italy holiday if possible. And then there was the Amalfi Coast - beautiful views that we were given plenty of time to admire and photograph from the best vantage points. Our tour guide gave us a recommendation for a place to have lunch and he was spot on - right on the beach and a great meal. Burnt butter and sage sauce on the pasta was probably one of the best pastas on our holiday. Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi - hard to say which was our favourite - all of them!! Do this tour if you can
