A Galeria Borghese é, sem dúvida, um dos mais interessantes, encantadores, elegantes e compactos museus de arte do mundo. Não é organizada cronologicamente, mas é uma coleção muito pessoal que revela basicamente as personalidades e gostos de duas pessoas: Gian Lorenzo Bernini, o maior de artistas barrocos, e Scipione Cardinal Borghese, o maior colecionador de arte e o homem que realmente de início ao barroco romano.

A coleção de Borghese inclui obras como Mulher com o Unicórnio, de Rafael, a Diana de Domenichino, a Virgem com o Menino Jesus, de Botticelli, o David de Caravaggio, Apolo e Dafne de Bernini só para citar algumas. Por trás das obras estão incontáveis histórias de arte sendo roubadas das igrejas, artistas sendo enviados para a cadeia, oficinas sendo devastadas pelos confiscos de Borghese, mortes misteriosas e outras inúmeras histórias de intriga e paixão.

Our small group tour of the Borghese gallery was, by far, one of the best guided tours we’ve ever taken. Our guide was vivacious, extremely knowledgeable, professional, and enthusiastic! In addition to providing, background information on the art and the artists, she added fascinating anecdotes and stories. I highly recommend this tour!

This was a great tour to hit the most important parts of the Gallery.. We highly recommend this tour for a great overview of the Italian artists. Perfect amount of time to see and get all the important information if you're interested in just highlights. Our tour guide (sorry I don't remember her name) was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

What an incredible museum! Our guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Everyone is limited to two hours in the museum, and without her guidance I likely wouldn't have made it beyond the first floor. There is so much to see in such a short time- but she made it very worthwhile. Would recommend it highly!

The Borghese Gallery is not a venue that is a must for the typical tourist in Rome. It does, however have an amazing art collection that is well worth the trip. Since the visit is timed for two hours, it is extremely important that you move quickly to see the entire exhibit.Our guide was extremely knowledgeable concerning the collection and was able to provide both a historical and artistic perspective. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in art and wishes to expand their knowledge.

Had a great tour of the Borghese Gallery! My guide was great, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We had only 5 people on the tour, and it was easy to get around with the small group. FYI, they really encourage you to check even small/medium purses, and the line can be brutal to do that, so try to get there early if you will need to check anything. The bag check was free.

Amazing gallery and well informed guide who highlighted details otherwise easily missed. The group was just us three, which was a bonus!
