Excursão de dia inteiro com mergulho com snorkel na Ilha Catalina saindo de Punta Cana

This is an excellent tour run by professional and very friendly people. I was to hospital in Punta Cana the day before our scheduled tour and it was as easy as a phone call to Chantelle to reschedule- she even went so far as to offer a refund if I was not well enough for the next tour. The customer experience surpassed my expectations. The snorkeling time was great and they allowed the seasoned snorkelers a bit more freedom than is generally experienced on these tours. It was wonderful to be away from the novices kicking fins :. For the beginner they are in the water and keep a close watch at all times. The beach BBQ is excellent and interesting to see the traditional method of open fire cooking. There was plenty of beach and/or snorkel time allotted at the Island as well. This was a tour that did not feel rushed in the least and provided a wonderful relaxing and exciting excursion. As a seasoned traveler I can say without hesitation this was one of the best water/snorkel excursions we have done and we've done maybe 15 in the Caribbean/Mexico.

Loved the island. Best island and best beach in Dominican. the trip to the Island was long but worth it.

My husband and I visit the Caribbean frequently and I have booked well over 100 snorkel trips and this is by far the worst. The transportation was a nightmare!!! The pick up at the hotel was on time but that's where the positive ends. We stopped at a gas station to drop off people and pick up additional people and the we stopped 2 times on the side of the highway. The first time no one was transferred and the second time half of us were put on another bus. This is NOt safe to do on the side of a busy highway. The vans used were very crowded. After the trip there was no one telling us what van we were to be on. Luckily my husband remembered what our driver looked like. The catamaran was actually a dive boat that was extremely difficult to enter and exit. Do not do this tour if you are unsteady on your feet. The boat also smelled of diesel fuel. It did look to be in good repair and clean. The trip to Catalina Island was extremely rough. We were soaked by the time we arrived due to waves crashing over the side of the boat. Our bags and towels were also soaked as there was no where dry to store them. There were lots of ill passengers so if you get motion sickness you may not want to take this tour. The snorkeling was GREAT! Lots of sea life and living coral. Little to no instruction given from staff so be sure you know how to snorkel before booking this trip. The staff was polite but did not interact a lot with the passengers. Not like other tours i have taken. The meal at the island was good but the hot food was not kept warm. No one ended up ill so it was all ok. Taste was good. There was no lobster for those who did the VIP. Just fish. The island was ok. The beach was rocky and I think our resort beach was nicer. It was however clean and had toilets, beach chairs etc. The biggest negative about the island was the vendors trying to sell you stuff or give you a massage. I can't recommend this tour and will definitely not book it again.

My family booked the VIP pckg with anticipation on the lobster meal. Unfortunately, when we were on the boat going to Catalina Island, we were informed that lobster will be substituted by snapper fish because the government prohibits the serving of lobster. That was a let down but we still enjoyed the meal fish, chicken, pork chops and veg and excursion. The crew were all nice and polite. The catamaran is clean. The beach is nice and clean.

This excursion could be better. The staff did not give any snorkeling instruction so it was figure it out on your own for those who had never snorkled before. We paid for lobster, only to find out when we got there that lobster was out of season. The food was OK.

Unfortunately, I woke up with a stomach issue the day of our snorkeling tour, but I ended calling Viator and spoke with Shantel hopefully I spelled her name right. She sincerely felt bad that I was sick and told me she would look into some options. She called back right away and told me she could get our driver to stop at the Pharmacy to pick up medicine or we could do a refund. I really didn't want to cancel so I went with the first option. Their customer service is superb, thank you for going out of the way so I wouldn't miss the snorkeling, which was a blast. We saw some really cool fish and the Catalina Island was beautiful, the local people are very nice a little pushy selling, but they're hustling and we had a great time!! Thanks Viator.
