Essa impressionante excursão começa em um rancho convenientemente localizado no coração de Bavaro. Todos os passageiros receberão instruções de segurança e sobre o funcionamento dos veículos antes da excursão. Os hóspedes irão dirigir seus próprios buggies automáticos em "estilo caravana", seguindo o guia da excursão que conduzirá o grupo.
A "Trilha de buggy Flintstones" tem 10 km e leva você através de uma grande variedade de vegetação e formações rochosas/colinas. A trilha segue direto pela zona rural, onde você poderá ver burros, vacas, cavalos, ovelhas e porcos!
Após cerca de 25 minutos de passeio, a excursão faz sua primeira parada em uma típica casa dominicana casa e no "colmado" local (uma pequena mercearia), onde os participantes poderão degustar os verdadeiros café e cacau dominicanos. Mergulhe na cultura dominicana juntando-se aos habitantes locais da zona rural fazendo suas compras diárias. Ninguém pedirá para que você compre algo, mas se precisar de algum alimento ou de produtos locais, poderá aproveitar os preços realmente baixos!
Cerca de 20 minutos mais tarde, a excursão continuará off-road e você ficará cercado com vistas de tirar o fôlego. Você passará por coloridas casas e por uma deslumbrante paisagem de plantações de banana e áreas agrícolas. Esta é a verdadeira República Dominicana! Dali, a trilha se torna ainda mais "irregular" e "selvagem", e existem algumas vistas espetaculares dos "penhascos" formados por milhões de anos.
A excursão continuará até a chegada na "Caverna da fantasia"! Primeiro, entraremos na caverna e caminharemos quase até o final através de enormes, incríveis e iluminadas estalactites e estalagmites. Você aprenderá sobre a lenda da "Princesa escondida" e todos os seus segredos! Esta não é uma caverna pública, portanto, ela é acessível apenas para sua excursão. Trata-se de uma experiência 100% autêntica! Na caverna, você sentirá as protuberâncias e a superfície irregular do caminho. Houveram alterações mínimas feitas na caverna para que ela mantivesse sua autenticidade e beleza naturais.
Depois de explorar a "Caverna da fantasia", você subirá os degraus até a Cidade de Bedrock! A Cidade de Bedrock é outro grupo de cavernas localizadas acima da grande caverna, uma rara combinação e, portanto, totalmente única! Por que o nome Cidade de Bedrock? Bem, ali você verá a vila de Fred Flintstone, a garagem com o carro dos Flintstones e muito mais.
Após cerca de 35 minutos dentro da caverna, será hora de voltar. Com o sol em seu rosto e o vento nos cabelos, você seguirá a com seu buggy aberto de volta ao rancho. Ali, os hóspedes terão a oportunidade de comprar as fotos da excursão e outros souvenires, ou de desfrutar drinks com o sabor dominicano no bar.

Loved the trip... 2 things 1. Bring bandanas 2. Bring wrap around eye wear . very dusty I have been on many in other areas and this ride is VERY DUSTY the caves are amazing the scenes on the ride are amazing. Must do!

We very much enjoyed the dune buggies. It was a very fun ride and definitely got muddy. The coffee we tasted was the best we ever had and the caves were very cool. Loved the Flintstones theme cave

You will get dirty but it's a great bumpy fun ride. The extra cave tour was great as well. Awesome! !

I highly recommend this excursion. My family stayed in Punta Cana for a week and took two excursions. We took this Buggy adventure excursion and the Four Adventures excursion. In my opinion, going on one excursion on the water and one excursion on the land was a great decision. We have teenage sons and they thoroughly enjoyed both excursions. - On the Buggy excursion you drive a two man dune buggy or a four man family buggy through the Dominican country side. While the group does stay together and you are not allowed to pass each other, you get to drive surprisingly fast on the straighter roads. Some of the roads are quite bumpy. But it is enjoyable navigating them. You do make several rest stops along the way so you can change drivers if you want to make sure everybody in your family gets a turn driving. But, frankly, being a passenger is also very enjoyable as you get to look around more. The stop at a local residence was very enjoyable with a nice tour of the residence and a cup of coffee. You can sample some the foods like bananas and plantains and coffee. Be careful if they ask if you want to taste one of the chile peppers. They are tiny but crazy hot. In the middle of the drive you get to stop at a cave and walk through it. The cave is awesome and surprisingly deep. No need to worry about small spaces. The cave is huge and you will not get claustrophobic. -- When you return to the buggy ranch there is a nice little shop where you can purchase some of the usual trinkets. But you can also sit down and drink a bottle of water while watching the pictures and videos the guides took while you were driving. The picture are great and you will definitely want to purchase them. In the end, I think pairing this excursion with the Four Adventures excursion was a great combination. Definitely 5 stars for both excursions.

A lot of fun! The buggies are safely put together and do pack a bit of a punch. The trail is mostly gravel and mud you will get splashed but this is part of the enjoyment make sure you wear clothes that you don't care much about. The cave at the end is very beautiful with some truly disturbing Flintstones characters. Overall very good.

Our guide Ivan Rosales and his assistant were extremely pleasant and quite knowledgible about anything we had a question about, whether it pertained to the terrain, plants, cave dwellings, etc., etc. Great sense of humor also. The dune buggies supplied are primarily open with a roll cage and were quite capable with regard to acceleration and handling the rough terrain. Just in case of a mechanical problem which we did not have, a mechanic follows in another buggy. I would certainly recommend this excursion over others that claim to be similar. We spoke to some folks at our resort with regard to their experiences with other tours...and they all seemed dissappointed that they did not join us instead. Make sure you bring goggles and a scarf to cover your face from the dust. Also consider bringing a couple of shower caps from your resort to put on your head under the helmets supplied. Just a precaution as my wife is paranoid about getting cooties from someone else's head This is a total thumbs up tour!!!
