The Adrspasko-Teplicke rocks is the most fascinating natural place in our country – complex of sandstone rock towns where we can see all the monumental and breathtaking sandstone towers, deep ravines and a romantic lake. These two rock towns were already declared as a unique country landscape place in 1933. It‘s also an important part of the protected landscape park Broumovsko. There are two rivers flowing through the rock with their numerous tributaries. There is also one of the major sources of the river Metuje. There is also an artificial pond, two waterfalls and a lake that was created by sand quarrying.

We’ll experience the history, architecture and art in an unique chateau Hospital Kuks. In 1696, Count Franz Anton von Sporck, the owner of the county, directed three of the mineral springs at one place and built a simple spa. The exhibition of the Hospital is now dedicated to the founder of Kuks (count Sporck), Baroque art and pharmacy.

The greatest interest is sticked to the masterpieces of European art – Braun´s sculptures of Virtues and Vices. They go along the entire length of a long terrace, mostly from the world-famous sculptor Matthias Bernard Braun, in the early 18th century.

We will go for a short walk through the forest from Kuks to one mystical place that evokes the feeling of a fantasy place. The very unique Braun‘s Bethlehem inside the Nový Les near Hospital is a remarkable Baroque monument that we’ll see just 2 miles away. A sculptural protected reserve, which bears the name of its author Matthias Braun is considered as the highest level of European Baroque masterpieceness of making sculptures in nature. The gallery of sculptures and reliefs carved right into the rock shows us biblical characters and scenes – that’s why it is named – Bethlehem.

We will not miss one of the most beautiful water reservoirs in the whole Czech Republic – Les Království. After the catastrophic flood in 1897 it was decided to build new water dam. Its architectural appearance and location in the forested valley of the river is unforgettable.
