Excursão express para grupos do melhor do museu do Louvre e Mona Lisa

From the very beginning this tour was so disorganized. The lady that was our tour guide could barely speak English and seemed in a hurry to go through the museum. And I was very disappointed that we didn't even get to see the Mona Lisa! That was my main purpose of taking this tour. Because the Mona Lisa had recently moved to a new room, there would now be a long wait for everyone to see her. Our tour guide gave us the option - spend 30 min in line to see the Mona Lisa or go to another part of the Museum and see other things. I could not understand why we couldn't see both. Very disappointing. The whole tour was a rush and a blur. Would not recommend you do this tour until they figure out the Mona Lisa line thing.

I did not experience a good tour. The guide was so fast to complete his job and go. I am sorry to say that he was not a good guide.

Having a tour guide is a MUST at the Louvre. It is an amazing museum with so much to take in, but if it is your first time, you really need to have someone to give you the history of what you are looking at, as well as how to maneuver quickly to the hot spots so you don't miss anything. Our tour guide was Florence and she was very knowledgable and friendly. We ended up with only 6 people in our group so it was very personalized. The only disappointment for me was that we did not have headphones to listen to her and had to be super close to her while speaking or not be able to hear. It clearly stated on my confirmation details when purchased that audio headsets were included to hear the guide clearly, and we asked but were told they were not available. I was very disappointed in that, because it's nice to be able to walk away and look more closely at the art they are describing while they are talking but we couldn't do that because then we wouldn't be able to hear.

We booked this tour at the last moment, and thank goodness we did. The Louvre is HUGE, and if you really want to see the key pieces in an organized and efficient manner you need to book a tour. Our tour Guide, Z, was fantastic and so knowledgeable. Z is a Croatian Fine Arts major who spoke excellent English, and in addition to navigating us to the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and the Nike sculpture he provided expert commentary for all of these. And along the way we made many additional stops and at each he taught us about each of the pieces as well as the period of art we were looking at. I can't more highly recommend you take advantage of this tour.

My daughter and I booked a small group express tour of the Louvre and it was just perfect! Our guide was so very knowledgeable. We ended up with only three people in our group so we were able to learn about and cover a lot of treasures inside the Louvre. We started in the basement and worked our way up from there. I recommend this tour, and really any small group tour through Viator for the Louvre. In a small group you get the attention to detail and the ability to move about in a crowd with ease. When my husband and I come back we will definitely book a small group tour of the Louvre but he will want more time than the express tour because he will have many questions. I'll probably peal off and have a cup of tea at Angelina inside the Louvre and have him meet me when he is finished.
