Unless you are arrive late, do not enter without your guide. Your guide will give you safety instructions just before your visit, but please be prepared for steep stairs to enter and exit, and low temperatures so we recommend wearing suitable footwear & clothing.

Our tour guide waited 30 minutes past the start time for a group to arrive. Due to the late start, our tour was rushed. This is the only tour I have been a part of that waits 30 minutes for late arrivals.

The lines for the Catacombs can be extremely long, even during the low tourist season when we visited Paris - it's worth booking just for the Skip-the-Line access, although Alberto was a really good guide and definitely added to the experience you also get to visit certain areas that aren't accessible on the self-guided walking tour.

Amazing tour. Alberto was great, informative, fun and friendly. He made the tour exciting and interesting. He had so much knowledge. It was so cool to see the parts of the Catacombs not open to the public. Totally worth the money and would recommend to anyone!
