Sobre esta atividade
Lenin Mausoleum (inside visit except Fri) .

For the burial of the Father of the Revolution, something special had to be arranged. Immediately after his death in 1924, a wooden mausoleum was erected on the square. In 1930 his remains were interred in a granite mausoleum on the western edge of Red Square.

Despite the attention of a team of scientists - and leaving aside rumors that he was long ago replaced by a wax model - Lenin is not the freshest-looking of corpses. Gone are the days when eager citizens queued round block to catch a quick glimpse of the great leader. However this is still something of a morbid necessity for visitors to Moscow. After years of rumor and controversy as to the fate of Lenin's body, the mausoleum was reopened in April 2005, and it looks to stay that way for the foreseeable future.

Historical park “Russia – My History”

Here we will see "The XX century. From the Great Upheaval to a Great Victory. 1917-1945" section telling about the most important events of the XX century: the participation of the Russian Empire in the First World War, the events of the Civil War, periods of collectivization and industrialization, as well as the victory and losses of the Russian people in the Second World War.

In 2017 the exhibition will add new multimedia exhibits telling about the life in Russia from 1945 till 2000. Every thematic section will present rare historical documents from the archives of the Russian Federation. Some of them used be classified as “Secret” and was out of public access.

State Museum-Reserve "Gorky Leninskiye"

This is the last place where Vladimir Lenin lived and died. The estate is very interesting as one of Shekhtel’s Art Nouveau designs, and now that most of the Lenin museums have been closed this remains the only one where you will meet this important man. The museum concerns Lenin's life here, containing such artifacts as his Last Testament (as transcribed by Nadezhda Krupskaya), other documents, photos, books, Lenin's personal car (a Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost), his wheelchairs, and his apartment and office from the Kremlin, reconstructed in a separate building.
