While in port in Jamaica, discover the beautiful Rio Bueno , one of Jamaica’s most scenic rivers, on this river-rafting shore excursion from Montego Bay! After pickup from the Montego Bay port, head to the river for a brief safety training. Trek through the scenic Jamaican jungle with your expert guide to the launching spot.

Then, hop in your raft and start making your way downstream! Navigate through the winding Rio Bueno with your guide and enjoy maneuvering through the fun twists and turns of the Class II rapids as you take in the tropical scenery surrounding you. Take a break halfway through your rapids adventure to lounge by the river, swim in the cool waters, or have fun on the nearby rope swing.

Continue your rafting adventure and head farther downstream as the Rio Bueno takes you toward the Caribbean Sea. Paddle over to the shores of Bengal Bay and swim or soak up the sun on the sandy beach before being transported back to the Montego Bay port.

This was a scenic ride down the river. Our guide was pretty cool and made the experience enjoyable.

I LOVED our guide Everton. The entire rafting experience was wonderful. It was peaceful, relaxing and informative. Everton sang to us going down the river. It was AWESOME! Our driver left a little to be desired. His name was Jay, nickname. He was not very personable to my husband and I but was nice to the younger couple with us. We expected him to be informative. He spoke only when asked a question and even then we felt like we were intruding on his time. He never gave us a clear time on when to leave. We had to ask.

I feel this excursion was overrated for the rafting excurions. There were no more that 4 rapids chanleged during the tour. However Errol was a great tour guide. He was patient with everyone and helpful to us.
