I feel like the places I went to were overpriced. Nonetheless the tour guides were really nice people.

Our guide Reda, was lovely and the tour started off amazing. He explained about some of the areas of the souks, some of the architecture and was helpful in answering our questions. however as mentioned in other reviews, it became clear that there are arrangements made between guides and shop owners, and it became a very curated tour only going to one rug place, one leather place. All in all, it was a good experience, but just be mindful if you are considering purchasing, there are many other souks to visit.

The guide was excellent but viator let us book a tour on a Friday afternoon but 75% of the shops are shut on this day which let the tour down.

We met the guide at The Café de France and were pleased that he waited, as we were around 10 minutes late. He clearly knew his way around the Souks, and had good knowledge of the history. He did however take us to mainly high end stores and when you are the only customers getting assistance from the owner, there is an innate feeling of pressure to buy, so be strong. There is clearly a cut involved, nothing I probably wouldn't do but actually witnessing the indiscreet handover, was a bit rich, so we decided to end the tour without further ado. This upset the owner of the shop opposite, to whom, I guess, we were to be taken next. Mutterings were exchanged between the owner and the guide from whom we then parted. I would still recommend guidance through the Souk, but warn the guide of the type of shop you wish to visit, or use this tour to learn you way around and go back to shop under your own steam.

Great tour guide and amazing morning! Lots of great finds in the souks - the guide knew where to take us and a lot about Marrakech. Great lunch recommendation too! Highly recommend.

This Tour Guide Rida was good . Very nice and friendly at the beginning but by the end of the tour not so much. He didn't stay with you the whole time.Which meant the shop or business owners followed you everywhere trying to get you to buy things before you had a chance to look properly. He seemed to be friends with all the people so he could get a cut out of the deal. Which put me off buying much. He did tailor the tour to my needs which was great but by the end of the tour he seemed disappointed that I didn't purchase alot. All the stores we visited had amazing colourful beautiful products. I would recommend this tour if you would like to buy a lot of products or would like to just enjoy looking at the traditional highest quality morrocan products.He knew all the best places for textiles, carpets, scarves, weaved goods,cushions,wood products,ceramics, ornaments, jewellery, shoes, spices. argon oils. lanterns. This guys knows where the best of the best is. Most things were of very high quality just as u would hope from Morrocco. We still had time left. To see more souks but he was ready to stop for the day. Which was a bit of a bummer. His English is very good and he can understand English very well. Great Value for Money!!!
