Palma de Mallorca Shore Excursion: Winery Visit and Wine Tasting Tour

When your cruise ship docks at the Palma de Mallorca port, set off on your wine tour by air-conditioned coach or minibus.
As you travel, enjoy the views over the island countryside and gain insight into its wine. Mallorca’s warm summers and wet winters combine to create red, white, rosé and sweet wine varietals that garner prestige from the international wine community.
After roughly 45 minutes, arrive at a winery backed by rolling vineyards and the rugged mountain range of Serra de Tramuntana. Head inside and enjoy a tour led by your winemaker host. View the vineyards, facilities and cellars, and learn about the winemaking process, from cultivation and harvesting to bottling and ageing.
Settle in a tasting area and sample at least three glasses of wine. Discuss their aromas and flavors, and enjoy snacks such as sobrasada, quelis (crackers) and local cheese.
If you wish, browse the estate shop and perhaps treat yourself to a bottle of wine at your own expense. After around 1.5 hours at the winery, travel back to port where your tour ends.

Amazing tour and had a ton of fun. The landscape was beautiful Pietro was not only charming, but very informative while touring the family's museum. Spectacular views while wine tasting, which were actually very nice. Paired well with the tapas. Would highly recommend to family and friends.
This is a can't miss excursion, we were picked up from the cruise terminal in an air conditioned minivan and after a 30 minute drive we arrived at the vineyard and met the 4th generation owner of the winery. After a brief history of the vineyard and the various wines of the regions we headed into town to the winery and arrived at a very scenic location in the middle of town. We entered into this building through very beautiful old doors into an amazing structure that was a trip back in time. The tour and history were awesome and when we thought the tour was complete, we were whisked upstairs into a large loft area where we begin to sample 3-4 different wines with small plates of local meats and olives with Kelley biscuits a local cracker paired with each wine. This was the best part of our tour of Spain and look forward to returning next year and spending a few days in the town, this place was awesome and romantic!
It was a smaller, family winery. Being a smaller winery, the tour just flew by to allow us to spend time to get down to the tasting poor. tasting
