Excursão na Abadia Downton e em Oxford saindo de Londres e incluindo o Castelo Highclere

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. Our guide made the trip so worthwhile. Her explanations of the history were very good and she made sure we were well informed about where to meet and when. Each of the stops was just right to see everything without being rushed. A thoroughly enjoyable day!

Our tour guide was brilliant. So kind and knowledgeable we had more than enough time in each place. Our driver was also absolutely marvelous.

This tour was great! If you're a fan of the show, it's a must do! We had Frank as our guide and a Christian as the driver. Frank was knowledgeable, friendly, whitty, and a pleasure to listen to! Christian made sure we were everywhere that we needed to be in a safe and timely fashion! Thank you to you both! We had a great time!

What a treat to enter "Downton Abbey", Highclere Castle! Gorgeous while being a family's home as well. Those who are fans of the series will love the opportunity to see the castle as well as the small town which served as the locale of other scenes. Not everyone, of course, knows the program, but it's still wonderful to see. For some, of course, the town and colleges of Oxford are the draw. Time to choose which places to tour there, with good suggestions from the well informed, positive and energetic guide. Our bus driver, Andreas, was amazing on the tight roads and roundabouts. It's a long day, but interesting in a number of ways. Some tours advertise Downton, but don't get you into the home, which has to be SO disappointing when people don't realize this until too late. This is the real deal, with plenty of time to savor the house and lovely acres of surrounding land and gardens.

Great tour. I loved it! Oxford was interesting and beautiful. The Highclere castle was wonderful. We had tea (we paid for tea and sandwiches) and they have a gift shop (for fan people like me) at the end of the visit. Great time!

We were very impressed with this tour. Our guide Ann Crook was very professional and informative throughout the day, her local knowledge was also excellent. She was also concerned for our comfort on the bus and made sure we were all confident in how to get back to our hotels at the end of the day, and gave directions and advice to help us. Our driver was also very good. We would certainly recommend this tour. Thank you.

It's a very long day, but worth it. Jack our guide and Malcom our driver were the best. Loved Jack's stories and was in awe of how Malcom maneuvered that big coach in VERY tight spaces. 2 1/2 hours at Highclere Castle was a bit long, especially without a formal tour through the castle, but Oxford and Highclere will bowl you over with their history and magnificence.

I greatly enjoyed this tour. The driver and tour guide were excellent, I were professional and friendly. The Oxford walking tour was informative and left enough time to explore a bit, and Highclere is simply beautiful!

Was a great day. Plenty of time for all three attractions. Bus and guide were great. Our guide, Frank was informative, funny and inclusive.

The tour guide and bus ride to Oxford and Highclere Castle was pleasant enough, but the actually tour was disappointing. We thought we would have a full tour through Oxford and Highclere Castle but were instead shown the highlights of the city and left to our own devices for 2 hours, and were not guided through the castle either. The castle itself was beautiful, but ultimately we would not recommend this trip.

Lucy was our guide and she was great. Just be aware that it's a long day.

Our guide John was amazing! Our trip included a stop at Oxford and Bampton, John is so knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts! Would do this trip again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend it!!

I scheduled this tour as a surprise for my mom (huge Downton fan) during our trip. We had a fabulous experience with both our driver Malcolm and guide Frank. Each stop was timed just right. I would highly recommend this tour to any fans!

It was a very enjoyable tour. James was our guide and Richard was our driver, both very pleasant people. James was very knowledgeable and wore a standout outfit which made it easy to spot him when we had to meet at the bus. The bus station was initially very crowded but once we started boarding it went by relatively quickly. Expect travel time to be about an hour to each destination so it does cut down a bit of the Oxford exploring time but it was a bit overshadowed by the face that we had more than enough time at the Downton Abbey locations. Brampton was a nice and quaint little village and of course Highclere castle is as splendid as can be.
