Sua jornada começa no Curral do Rancho Mendes, onde você será recebido pelo paniolos. Em seguida, suba no seu tranquilo cavalo e siga seus guias em uma trilha de 1 hora e meia!
Partida às 8h45:
em seu passeio pela manhã, cavalgue por pastagens e desça até a borda do Vale Waihee até o litoral, onde você poderá ver a magnífica água do Pacífico. Aqui, seus guias tirarão fotos de você com a majestosa paisagem ao fundo. Em seguida, volta para o curral.
Partida às 11h30 ou 12h15:
Em seu passeio à tarde, faça um passeio até as montanhas na borda de um exuberante barranco em a 762 metros elevação. Aqui, você verá algumas das maiores cachoeiras de Maui à distância.
Faça um passeio ao longo da borda do Vale Waihee, pelas plantações de inhame e passando pelas casas nas plantações, antes de retornar ao curral.

The Mendes Ranch is a large, clean ranch with other animals on it. We saw pigs, goats, some cows, chickens, peacocks, and ducks. They have clean restrooms for their customers use as well. We began our ride a little later than expected. There were about 20 of us and it took time to get us all on a horse, plus they split us all into two groups. Although we didn’t see any waterfalls, we got an approximate two hour ride with opportunities to get pictures taken of us with our own cameras. The views were spectacular. The mountains were so green and lush. The ride overlooked the ocean. It was just flat out beautiful. This ride was the highlight of our trip to Maui. Everyone was really nice and very knowledgeable. Thank you so much for this opportunity!

I would have said this was a great tour but I can't help but think the employee designated to assign horses purposefully gave me a horse that should have been put out to pasture a long time ago. Don't get me wrong, you designate based on level of skill but this horse wouldn't even listen to the commands of the employees so he certainly wasn't listening to me. The scenery was exquisite and even though we went in a circle it didn't feel like there was any scenery that we saw twice.

This was a wonderful tour. The views were absolutely breathtaking and the staff were just awesome. Highly recommend this horseback riding tour at the beautiful Mendes Ranch in Maui. I've been on horseback riding tours before, but none compare to this one.

This was an awesome adventure. The scenery is beautiful and the guides are great. I would highly recommend this tour. Well worth the money as the experience is MEMORABLE!

Most fun with we had in Maui! Butch and Kimo were outstanding guides and were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Absolutely beautiful scenery and numerous photo ops. Horseback riding at Mendes Ranch should definitely be on your to do list when visiting Maui!
