Destaques de Joanesburgo: excursão guiada diurna

I very much enjoyed the tour as it offers a strong introduction to the city. Our guide, Bobo, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the city. I thought the trip was very well-organized and paced with just the right amount of time at each stop. I know that some people might want more time to explore the Apartheid Museum but I found two hours to be quite sufficient. My only suggestion for improving the tour would be to include lunch with it - there is also no time to eat lunch at the Apartheid Museum so perhaps lunch could be scheduled for a different stop on the tour.

The tour was great ! However, I constantly felt like we were being rushed to the next thing. We toured Johannesburg first but I would have prefered to start in Soweto. When we arrived to both the Hector Pieterson Museum and the Nelson Mandela Museum we had a limited amount of time because they were close to closing. If the Apartheid Museum is something you are interested in be prepared to some back a second time. We were allowed 2 hours including lunch but if you would like to take your time and read everything it can easily take up an entire day by itself. Overall I think it was a great tour. My tour guide BoBo was knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great way to get familiarized with the area and I would recommend it to anyone !

Our guide, Nick, was an excellent guide, knew Johannesburg well, and had an excellent attitude. I wish the van had a speaker system so the people in the back of the van could hear better. I strongly recommend.

This tour was informative and hit the highlights of Johannesburg and Soweto. I think we visited the sites in a way that helped tell the story of recent history in S. A. Our tour guide Thsolo and his helper Fresh were a wealth of knowledge and made us feel very welcomed. Highly recommend!

October 21st. We had a most amazing day with Thabang touring your wonderful city Johannesburg. We have looked forward to this day for a long time and and it far surpassed our expectations. Thabang is a wonderful ambassador for your company as well as your country and its inspiring history.He taught us to cherish dear Mr Mandela and appreciate better how much he brought not only to South Africa but to the world. Every tour stop was worthy of our time spent. The very special visit was in the community in Soweto. We are so glad Thabang was willing to take us there. We have a much better understanding of the South African township life and we are richer for it. Please know for yourself and tell him for us we think he is a wonderful guide. Great tour with our local guide BoBo, from Soweto. He did an excellent job.

We wanted an overview of Johannesburg with a focus on Apartheid, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The history is so complex, I was not expecting to do more than scratch the surface, but our guide fully understood what were looking for and delivered even more. Thank you, Viator, thanks Ben, and thanks to all the guides at each stop.

Great tour lots to see -hard to fit it all in. Not enough time in Aparteid museum service in café was so slow we had little over an hour in the museum. Constitution Hill was very interesting if somewhat shocking, loved the design of the new courthouse reflecting both the traditional culture of S Africa AND new constitution, in a creative and positive way. Soweto tour was extremely well run and very enlightening felt far safer and less dark and threatening than expected - a place of many contrasts. Would have liked more time around the area of Nelson Mandela's house also. A good intro to S. Africa, with a friendly and interesting guide
