This tour provides a whistle stop tour of the city of Cairo, the River Nile, and the Giza plateau, and is idea for travellers who are pressed for time. Our tour guide, Mama, was simply outstanding and his passion for Egyptian culture and heritage came across in abundance. He's been a tour guide for over 30 years, and it was clear he was doing this job out of a genuine love for his country and it's history. This tour deserves five stars if only for his service and friendliness - he guided us through the Egyptian museum and showed us key exhibits, informed us of notable landmarks as went on our Nile river cruise, and took photos of us at panoramic hotspots in the Giza plateau. At no point did we feel obligated to give gratuities or pressured into paying for optional extras (e.g. the visit to the essences shop at the end). Our tour facilitator, Ahmad, arranged a private minibus for us at short notice, since the larger coach had only European tourists on that day. Word of warning - this tour is incredibly long (pick up was at 2am and we returned around 11pm), so I would book this tour advisedly if you're travelling with young children. In hindsight, it was a blessing in disguise we had a private minibus just for our family. The extra cost of booking a private tour is definitely offset by the comfort and convenience it offers! Overall, a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experience - a must-see for tourists pressed for time!
It was an amazing trip to Cairo and Pyramids. The organisation by Ramashka Tours was completely the same as it was described in the offer. Picked and returned us on time. This trip made perfect for us our guide Mamadouh (Mama) and I suggest all who want to take this trip to ask from the company to put Mama as a guide. If you like to enjoy your trip at a maximum, just leave everything on his hands...He deserves a good tip-:).
Amazing!!! Very hot but worth it. Breath taking views. Guided bu the best of the best mamduah AKA mama
Professional staff all-round. Arrived on time. Fascinating tour. Humble and considerate driver. Tour guide very informative.
It was a long day. We left hotel at 1:30 and back at 24:30. But it was absolut worth it. It is something like once-in-lifetime. Our guide Rafat was experienced and gave us lots of knowledge of Egypt. The bus driver had typical Egyptian style.
This one day bus trip to Cairo is great, especially with a very nice and friendly guid. The most impressive part is the guided tour around the Pyramids, relaxed and enjoyable, it is just fantastic!
Amazing trip .. fantastic drivers .. egyption museum pyramids and sphinx .. what more could anyone ask for .. drivers do an amazing job not crashing in madness of Cairo and turn up on time at pick up points during the day .. guided we had was ok .. great value for money and a must on trip to hurghada as will be best by far day of anyone's holiday ... very comfortable mini bus and enjoy watching a film on way back ...
What can I say....a very long day but worth it. Started with a hotel pick up at around 2am drive to Cairo was long but you did get to see lots of the desert. We did stop for toilet breaks and food.Cairo itself was a crazy place I'm really pleased I was not driving....mad mad drivers but an experience. Cairo museum was amazing. Lots to see. The mummy room is worth paying extra for !!Out guide Mamma was very knowledgeable and showed us the best bits then left us to our own devices but was always there for help and answers. We then went on an optional trip up the Nile.....got to be done just to say you did it. Then lunch before headding to the pyramids. Out guide Mamma took us around although we did have an option to wander yourself we descided as a group to stay with the guide he fended off the hundreds of sellers and kept you safe. We got to see lots of thinks and I learned a lot about the pyramids and sphinx and also got to go I side the tombe of the queen....it's free and around the corner from the grand pyramid.Great day
