My husband and I were the only ones who had signed up for the tour, so we had the wonderful and knowledgeable guide all to ourselves. She shared wonderful tales with us, and we wondered why we had not discovered this magical place on our first trip to Italy. And, since we had no thou group to keep up with, she tailored the visit to the pace of two old souls on a hot day, stopping often to sit in the shade. Brava!

My husband and I were the only ones who signed up for the tour that day, and so we effectively had a private tour. Our guide was sensitive to the needs of two elderly people on a very hot day, so we stopped often in the shade to chat and rest. Her knowledge of the site was remarkable, her delivery was entertaining, and we wondered why on earth we had never gone there on a previous trip to Florence. Very happy!

Not your ordinary garden. If your looking for flowers, this is not the place. If your looking for great landscaping, art built into the various grottos on the property, views from the othersode of the river looking down on Florence, then this is a place you don't want to miss. Be prepared to walk in this huge place and to see the wonder our sculptures and buildings on the property. Another must see while in Florence, all guided by a wonderful tour guide with the love of the work they do.

Francesco was fantastic: great knowledge and enthusiasm. Views from on high are amazing and a hidden treasures. My husband and I are still debating the grotto but I absolutely loved it. Great combo tour with the Pitti Palance. And Francesco recommended a great restaurant for lunch as well!
