Hold the Panda & Mt Qingcheng Walk

In the morning our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel, and we will drive out of downtown Chengdu, it takes about 1.5 hours to get to Dujiangyan Panda Base. On arrival you are supposed to register for holding the panda activity. The professional panda guide from the panda base will do the briefing about holding panda’s, including the safety notice. Later you will be guided to one enclosure where you may hold the baby panda. The baby panda will be put near you, and you are supposed to sit down near her, holding her arm for pictures. This will be the highlight of your whole trip in China.
After our tour in Panda Base, we only drive about 15 minutes to Mt Qingcheng, which is famous for Daoism religion in China. 90% of this mountain is covered by trees, whenever you come, the views of the green color come into your eyes. Firstly we take the golf car to the entrance of Mt Qingcheng , and then follow the stone steps up to the cable car station. The first part is quite easy as it is slow up section, we walk in the woods, and then reach up to a tiny lake, where the water surface reflects the mountain. After we pass by the lake, we reach to the cable car station. A 10 minute ride in the cable car leads up to the upper sections of Mt Qingcheng, from where we begin to explore Daoism religion by visiting different temples. It only takes us 45 minutes to hike up to the top. The higher you walk up, the more views you will get. And on the top it is a pagoda, once you arrive there, you may have a very open view of Chengdu plain. Later you may follow the same way down to the bottom and then take the car back to your hotel, the end of your day trip.
