Blue Mountain 4WD Tour Including the Lost City and Capertee Valley

Your 4WD tour begins with pickup from your accommodation or train station in the Blue Mountains for the drive to your first stop, Clarence, at the site of the Old Zig Zag railway.

Head straight into the adventure with some serious four-wheel-driving before continuing to the Lost City, a formation of rock pagodas etched from nature over millions of years. After visiting these formations, check out some Aboriginal artwork painted thousands of years ago, and then visit the Royal Hotel at Capertee for a lunch of home-cooked items and a drink, enjoyed by a coal fire in the winter months.

After lunch, head off to do some creek crossings and hopefully spot a few wallabies and other native wildlife. The final part of your tour provides exclusive access to a private property with 270-degree views of Capertee Valley, the largest valley in the Southern Hemisphere and second-largest in the world (by width), second only to the Grand Canyon. The views seem to go on forever and overlook the giant Pantoneys Crown.

You will then be dropped back at your accommodation or the train station of your preference in the Blue Mountains, where your tour concludes.
