After picking you up from your centrally located hotel in Beijing around 8:30am, you will start your day trip by visiting Tian'anmen Square, the world’s largest public square. Explore the sites around the square with opportunities to take some amazing pictures. Then, venture northward to the Tian’anmen Rostrum guarded by the enormous and portrait of Mao for all to see and what has universally been photographed all over the world.

Next, heading to the magnificent Forbidden City, the largest Imperial Palace in the world. You’ll spend a couple of hours wandering around this amazing example of Imperial architecture and learning about the history of the palace. The whole morning tour will be around 2 hours.

At the lunch time, your tour guide can recommend some authentic Chinese restaurants that cater whatever you are craving for.

After lunch, you will visit the Summer Palace, a summer resort for Imperial Family Members, it is considered as the best preserved Imperial Park.

After your classic city tour, your tour guide will send you back to your hotel in Beijing.

This is the best way to see the area and our guide was just fabulous. Tiananmen square was closed but as we had been here before we weren't concerned.

Myself and two children absolutely loved this tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable and personable that we thoroughly enjoyed the day and we learnt more than we could have ever imagined. I don't think a visit to these historic sites would be the same without a tour guide explaining everything to you. I would highly recommend this tour.

We had a great guide who was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English and took us to some of the sights off the beaten track - avoiding the crowds and seeing lots of interesting places along the way - a lot of walking but but we went at our pace and saw everything we wanted to see and lots more - thank you

I really enjoyed this tour! Robert was amazing, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I learned a lot about each place we passed, he explained everything very well. He was also very patient with us taking pictures, and he is also very good photographer! The tour bus was clean, spacious and comfortable. The driver, William, picked us up and dropped us off right where we needed to be. Overall a very worthwhile tour! I strongly recommend.
